Patricia Zamora is an American actress based in San Antonio, Texas. She has performed in roles from Brecht to Sondheim on stages in Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston and the Rio Grande Valley. Some of her favorite roles include Nina Banks in “Father of the Bride”, Rose Alvarez in “Bye Bye Birdie “and Mrs. Peachum in “Threepenny Opera” for which she won a best actress Moody Award.
Patricia was named one of the Best Local Actors in San Antonio for 2021 by the San Antonio Current. Her one woman show, Curanderas & Chocolate: Cuentos of a Latino Life made its world premiere at The Overtime Theater in 2019. She has since performed the show at The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Teatro Audaz and Stage Left Theater in Spokane, Washington.
Patricia is best known for her role as Silvia in the San Antonio smash hit Las Nuevas Tamaleras. She had been touring with the company since 2015.
